I know we talked a little about the maxtrims and the trim rings via PM, and I haven't installed mine yet but when I lined up the speedo trim piece with the maxtrim gauge face then held it up to a florescent light there were only about 5 or 6 notches in the trim piece which had light coming through them. It appeared that these would be the only ones to light up when the EL sheet was in place.

Either way, I would really like to get a set of these custom rings in KPH so there are actually notches which line up with the numbers...also, the brushed aluminum should look awesome with dark faces and the notches in these custom rings look to be triangular instead of rectangular which is sweet (more like sharks teeth).

Whew, I was worried I was looking at it all wrong.

As stated previously...just let me know the cost and where to send the payment to...I've got no problem with paying in advance.

I may be interested in personalizing the logo on them if that ends up being a possibility.

Thanks to everyone who made these possible.

We will be able to etch anything you want on any part of the visable material... I already have a great idea for flames or lightning

Any more pics of what the final product will look like?

What are the dimensions of the area where you placed the RD Tib logo and will the personalized etching cost more?

^^^
As said before, the pics above are what they will look like. On Wednesday we should have them fitted and 100% done, then they should go on sale at the end of the week or so for about 25 to 30 shipped.

Dimensions for that area, can't say for sure, but it's not very big. Maybe .5 inch tall by 1.5 inch wide.

QUOTE (DrivingTibNaked @ Feb 12 2007, 05:18 AM)
designing the RD1 style might prove to be a bit of a challenge. They have no firm mounting points. they'd have to be double-sided in.

I said this earlier.

just another guy showing interest in the KPH versions. I have a bros gauge set ordered, want to scare passengers when they look at the odometer.
