Re: New wheels and other stuff
Ok the time has come for me to release the Equal Length Turbo Manifold.
To give a little background on these manifolds as far as the construction, these manifolds will not crack or break, and they come with a Guarantee to support this. They are only offered in External Wastegate configuration Also.
Flanges are Made of 3/8 Thick Steel Laser Cut.
Runners flow ~245 CFM individually.
As for performance whether or not this manifold will make power, the design has been proven to produce over 40+whp over the standard Log Style Manifold with just bolting it up.
The manifolds are offered in either Mild Steel (Pictured) and 304L Stainless Steel, both of which are 8ga in thickness. Prices at Bottom of Page.
Here is a comparison of the metal thickness of the Speed-Factor Manifold (8ga)versus the standard turbo manifold metal (SS autochrome 16ga), 16ga on the left and 8ga on the right:
These manifolds use a Merge Collector to join the runners of the manifold together. The merge collector is the most efficent collector on the market, not this cheap large pipe over the runners to make the collector. They are cut on a angle to join them together smoothly, here are a few pictures of the merge collector:
The pic below is to show you the collector without the flange, also the collector is not welded nor has it been cleaned up after cutting.
In the pics you can see how smooth the runners come together, no need to take a die grinder to the inside of this manifold, unlike the SS Autochrome or CNK.
Now on to the pics of the manifold:
Shot of the welds holding the runners to the head flange, in this pic you can see there is no restriction on this manifold:
Here is a Shot of the Wastegate Placement (Note this is not the angle in which the wastegate will sit)
Ok the Following Pictures are of the Manifold Bolted to the Mock up Motor, you will see there is no DP in the Pics, but the DP will be offered with the Manifold. The Turbo is a Garrett T3/TO4E which is Available from Speed-Factor:
Here is one last shot of the Manifold:
The manifold with the T3/TO4E Turbo Bolted to it I gained 1" to the Front toward the radiator over my Internally gated, log style manifold with a T3 Super 60 on my Elantra Wagon, I don't have any pics of the manifold installed on the car yet, but soon.
Now on to the Pricing of the Manifold:
-Mild Steel with No DP is $420 Shipped
-Mild Steel with DP is $520 Shipped
-Stainless with No DP is $575 Shipped
-Stainless with DP is $675 Shipped
The DP is 2.5" like the other Speed-Factor DP.
We are looking for someone who is willing to dyno thier exisiting Setup, and then put this Manifold on and Dyno, there will be a discount for the person selected. And their setup has to are ready be running a T3 form of Turbo, as this is the only Flange Available. If you are interested please send a e-mail to tim@speed-factor.com, Subject: Equal Length Manifold Test.
Thanks For looking!!!
