Size of pulley for 8 psi boost for Gen 1 Alpine SC
The current pulley for the Gen 1 SC provide about 4 psi boost. What is the size of the pulley if I want to increase the boost to 8 psi? Where can I purchase it? Ballrub?
Fatal, I am now making 8psi on my s/c, which was achieved by taking 2mm off the pulley, there was some other stuff done too, check out the post http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/noncgi/u...c;f=39;t=000165

I don't have a 2.0L s/c kit in stock to measure the pulley diameter (but have requested this info from S. Africa, and will post here when I get an answer).
There is no ther pulley size available from us at the moment, and would strongly advise you wait until we've finished re-engineering of the Beta II s/c kit (30-45 days), and develop our own upgrades for this kit sometime this summer, which will more than likely include a smaller pulley for more boost (among other items) to safely and reliably increase the performance. Besides, if the upgrade is not from us, it will void any and all warranties!
Guys like Xorro are kind of an exception, because of his extensive knowledge from experimenting over a long period of time on tuning of those improvements. Besides, he doesn't have to worry about smog, and our lower octane gas too!
Steve wink
