Rd Hatch Plate
The plate comes with velco strips (I believe there was 4-5 of them) already attached to the back of it. These strips are only the side of the velcro which is less dense, allowing it to stick to the somewhat fuzzy coating on the hatch lid. I opened and shut my hatch lid several times after just installing it, and the plate didn't budge...very secure but also easy to remove if necessary.

Pics coming of mine from the show. Unfortuantely I never got a chance to try to put it on a RD1, as Tibbytib's car has some neons and stuff up there so it wouldn't fit. Someone go measure your RD1 hatch cover, the indent, in width and length for me.

I know the hatch covers have 2 different part numbers, and from previous experience, one of mine was shaped differently. I can't find my RD1 hatch cover though.
