Well, he contacted me on AIM before telling me he's got VTEC in his tib. I explained to him that it's impossible.

His dad works for Hyundai or something and he told him that his car is different because it "pulls hard".


Mine pulls hard.

Doesn't mean you have a secret mistaken engine from Korea. You still got the same US Ecu too.

type r tibs are map and thats the only basic engine difference right? other than like emissions stuff

Well, there's a "Rumor" that there is a differently tuned ECU in them and such. That rumor is based on the 155 WHP # that floats around the net on it.

The truth though, was told by David some time ago when he came here, and said there is no difference.

The "Type R" is just the fully done up Turbulence. Clear corners, turby skirts, Type R wing, Bronze Interior panels.

That's about it.

thank you reds mine looks like one , reason being why i want the decals to finish off the look i was just giving that kid a hard time lol if you can get the decals i need about 6 of them i know they have a set with a blue R and a red R either one is fine just let me know
