I also have a 97 with the 3 flange cat. I think it may have something to do with the cali emissions? The car with the 3 bolt cat has only one Cat, and a 1.8L beta with the "semi headers" 4-2-1ish.

My tib is cali emissions qualified (well......it was when I bought it, I'm sure that after close to 5 years my cats are just about shot)

I was messing around with one of my foglamps, when I put it back on in a few I'll have to check out which type of flange is on my second cat.

Tom, how long is this going to run??

I wouldn't worry about the flange too much..a muffler shop can always cut the old flange and put a new one on or even make one that works with the exhaust...at least the muffler shop I go to is able to do this..

Anyone has the same style muffler of their cars? Could you post pictures?

Are there any resonators, or is it a straight through design?

thanks

Oh man i so want in on this... i was supposed to get a custom 2.5 mandrel ss catback but they said that it would be way more than 200+ labor... it says it comes with everything for install... so its just bolt on then? instructions? i could proly do this in my garage then.. if i can i think im prolly gonna get this... Any body know what the typical charge for labor is for just putting an exhaust on?

^^ Hey, great price but too bad I just bought it for $10 more on Ebay .
Oh well, but yeah, that is the exact same cat-back I just bought 5 days ago.

Bought it from SSAutochrome, I'm dying to hear what it sounds/looks like.

I know at least one person here has it installed - hope that person posts pics *hint*hint* smile.gif
