I wonder. Do the knobs in a second gen come off? If so, what does the connection look like?

Yes, in fact, they DO come off, mine fall off about once a month. (I'm sure I pull when I turn 'em.) The 'stick' that the knob is on is like a half-round metal post. With one side being round, the other is flat.

And as a purile, Childish note, Knob is a common slang term for the male Phallus in the UK, so Redz begging for a picture of Spikes Knob just cracked me up lol

Spoke to Spike yesterday... Those knobs just fit over the top of the stocks and are fixed with double sided tape.... Time to go see how similar the stockies are in 1/2/3 gens....

Sorry I did tell REDZ that the were a "D" shape....so my SUGGESTION would be to go to the dealer and BUY the 3rd gen knobs if possible or try the 3M tape with a 2nd or 1st gen knob set smile.gif They are nice....
