no they are not the same
Korean spec headlights are made out of glass... not plastic.
They also use a different bulb and the built in light filter is smaller (so you see more light).
Korean lights also have built in city lights..

the FIRST GEN korean headlights are made out of glass. The use H1 for both high and low beams.
Secong gen korean headlights have the same bulb configuration as NA spec, and are still made outta plastic, but have a different projector cut off peice.
Europens (2nd Gens at least) also have a auto aim mechanism.

kspec will ship them here, but NO they are not available in the US.
there is a small peice of metal attached inside the projector housing, thats what jaws is referring to. IDK how to explain it. theres a diagram somewhere in the archives about it.....plus you can search blacktibs posts as he took a set apart and you can clearly see the piece im talking about.

I think I remember them being $300. I want a set so bad. Random used to have them, I remember reading a post of his of how he used to blind people with them with only the lowbeams on.

I bought a set from rick (Sale may still be in the archives). They are sitting at home in the boxes, waiting for blacktibs to send me some replacement LEDs for my haloz.
I might take them apart this weekend just to get it done and to look at the projector housing and how it could be modified (im thinking painting, or chroming the inside of it) to make the low beam brighter w/o having to up the wattage of the bulbs.
