anyone have a DIY on how to make a rd/gk bumper?

heres one..

step 1) cut at lines you want them to match up.
step 2) rivet them together with ~1" overlap
step 3) add 2-3 layers of FG behind the bumpers overlapping the FG cloth about 4" on each bumper
step 4) smooth out seam on front of bumper using some type of body filler.
step 5)prime, sand, wetsand until it looks perfect.

Why dont you guys split this thread and continue. I'm sure as much as this is helpful to you guys, Import Shark would rather that info pertain to the Genius bumper incase anyone wants to pay to import one. Just a thought.

to help you out on the ground clearance issue sir, i would recommend going to bobeadream.com i think its called. its like cordomain.com for Korea, a lot of Korean tuners just have a front bumper. from what i have seen, the new bumper will have a square bottom bold look, and the OEM skirts have a 2" higher free flowing none aggressive look. IMO skirts are a must. as for the rear, im keeping the stock rear bumper b/c i like the higher ass end better than a low one.
