the bottom pod is to low but with some finesse you can get it to fit... I got mine in and it sits just fine... it's a REALLY snug fit with the pods though

^ Hmm, it really seems like there's an inch of the dash that needs to go, how did you make it fit? BTW was this on a RD1 or RD2, not sure if there is any difference in that dash part between the two. Also, what did you use to hold the rest of the pillar, double sided tape?

Ok, I tried again and I cut part of the lower pod and it will sort of fit now. Thanks!

So the bottom pod hits the dash or what? I would contact him through his site but I have no idea the issues as mine are still in the box and the crash pad is out of my car right now. Would be nice if someone could so maybe the problem could be fixed. I will try to get my car back together and look at the issues as soon as I can.

As of today I have contacted him through his site. There is no chance of me modifying mine because it is carbon fiber so thats not an option. I am hoping he gets back to me about this. Can you guys post pics of how yours is so I can see what you had to do? I will forward them as well. Thanks

Well, nothing back from him. My passenger side CF piece fits great, wish I could use the driver side one.

Everyone is advised to not do business with this seller unless the current issues are taken care of. All I want is a piece that fits. He was sent a perfect fitting piece, I dont know where it went wrong. Hopefully he ends up fixing this.
