no no bubble wrap they where just wrapped in tissue paper real well with newspaper on the end but i think they still bounced around quit a bit.

Make sure you save ALL of the packaging, because either you or CD may be able to file a claim with the shipper.

Wow, mine came perfect packed just like that. Im going to take an extra look quick though to double check. Mine are still in the box.

Mine came in very well packaged also, no dings or anything and with bubble wrap on the ends and tissue paper all around.

I assume that the damage was on the same ends of both peices? For damage like that to happen they must have received a pretty hard impact to the ends. I find it strange that the box was in perfect condition though. Looks as though the box would have been dropped VERY hard or from a higher level onto the ground from its end. Regardless we'll get this straightened out asap

If its an issue you could damage the box a little bit if they ask for pictures.
