Any way you could set a wastegate to ~5 lbs, include a "reset the ECU" fuel management system and Package it for $1500? Or would that cause the car to run like ass with that much power draw to run the S/C?
When i say reset, i mean a wiring harness with a relay for the ECU to kill power each and every time you turn off the vehical causing the emissions control to stay out of the picture and not lean the A/F out. My state and quite a few others do not have emissions laws.

^^ Wastegate? You'd knock down the boost by running a larger pulley. And I'm pretty sure $1500 would give them very little profit for putting something like that together. Superchargers are hella expensive.
Oh hell, if its a decent price then I'd be down, I was assuming race only meant difficult streetability, if it really is only a slight mpg loss and the idle is controllable then I'd be down.

^^^
I concur. When you go FI you have to EXPECT some loss of MPG, not to mention some minor drivability factors.
I'm willing.
He's in Denver, he's posted it before.
YET. I'd suggest you try to keep to the side of "Let's keep the air clean", and be prepared for nationwide emissions testing. It IS coming.

Where is local, I am assuming right now that local is west coast? In which case nevermind.

Sorry for the late replies guys. I'm a Java Developer by trade and lately my companies software has not been doing to good.
Pricing is not yet finalized. Once we get a working prototype on my car we'll set the price. My target for the complete kit though is just slightly more than the current kit price.
The M62 flows about 1.5 times more than the MP45 at the same RPM. Also the chargers effeciency boost is higher than the 45 meaning that at 10psi the 62 will heat up the air less than the MP45.

Honestly, the more I think of this the more I want it.
Minus the Unichip.
Wonder how much that would cost. This setup, minus the unichip, and minus the extra injector stuff. I'd run it with a SMT6 and larger injectors.
