Default ECU tuning ?? Fuel Octan ?? Dyno Power ??

Many tuner want to know how much power is increased by ECU tuning.
So..many customer want to check maximum power by dyno.
And some company use dynochart by advertizement.

But there is a little difference between Dyno and street.

Especially, it depend on Fuel..

Follow data is engine dyno meter test result of 1.5L engine.

This result tell you as follows
1) if you want to increase power, use high octane
fuel and ECU data change (Ignition advance)
2) It is useless to use High octane race fuel
without ECU data tuning(Ignition advance)

Fuel Octan - Engine Torque
