Default CNK's t3/t4 turbo???

That turbo looks nice but what kind of general specs does it have? What kind of boost ranges could you push out of it (providing fuel, cooling, exhaust and intake restriction, etc weren't a problem)? 30psi? 40psi??? Also, with the kit that it comes with, about where does it spool to about 15psi? 2500-3000rpms? I'd just like to get an idea of how this particular turbo drives before I would buy it. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks --

The specs are as follows:-

T3 .63 exhaust housing, Stage 3 T3 shaft

Water cooled center core, CNK 360 thrust upgrade with titanium retainer

T04B AR60 compresoor housing with Turbonetics Super V comp wheel (contrary to what the un-informed believe this compressor wheel has been in existence for over 5 years to date)

All turbo's have special suspension springs to absorb abnormal boost levels to protect the thrust washer assembly --- patented design owned

The turbo will be able to boost over 40PSI that I know of --- but I have not been in a position to boost this specific turbo to over 27PSI at this stage.

The turbo has been known to spool as soon as 2500RPM FULL boost with a special edition thrust component which is not for resale to the public at this stage (not ball bearing) the turbocharger supplied in the kits will bost from 2800RPM and full boost around 3000 - 3500RPM which is where the fireworks start. evil_gri

Any idea when this turbo with the special thrust component will be avaliable? Will this replace the turbo currently offered with the kit, or will it be an extra upgrade?

This component was an experiment and it worked --- just that it aint reliable.... It lowered boost responce 1000RPM at a stage - but the thrust washer never lasted 1oookm's.... !!

So it never hit the market ---

What will replace this is the CNK Ball bearing setup --- this will be ready in the near future and will not increase the price of the turbocharger kit at all! I have tested this for around 15000km's sucessfully, but I don't feel 100% comfortable to release this as yet....

time will tell.

Well that sounds pretty good to me! Especially considering some bigger cams would help drop it's spool time a bit more from 2800-3000rpm. Do you have any loose time-frame as to when you might have decided on the BBturbo? By the end of this Spring?Summer?Fall? It'd really help as I am planning on purchasing a kit (HOPEFULLY) in the rather near future. I know that you've got your price list up in this section but I'm not sure how much of that stuff comes in the kit. Could you give me a list and a price please?

Russ,

Totally honest ---- when I have time... suicide suicide

I have many things to eat off my plate before I release this into the market - but having said that, more than likely by the end of the year.... along with a few other CNK bits related to turbos...
