Hey Chris(?), every time I see you I get happier (FMS). I will be purchasing the turbo kit next week. I have a couple more questions though.

1)
Your fuel management system will work well with the this turbo kit?
2)
You mentioned your working on a turbo kit for the Elantra. Does this include all the piping? I have a 2.0 Beta and wish to find some way of getting all the piping for the kit I will be getting. The reason is because I am 4 hours away from the closest mandrel pipe bending shop.

MAd --

OFCOURSE the FMU will work well --- I certainly won't sell my kit with the top quality components it consists of with a crappy FMU unit that will blow engines..... I would rather not sell the FMU unit if it was going to destroy the already proven kit.. :-)

The piping, I am PLEASED to let you know IS ALL included and is annodized whatever colour you want - this goes for the Tiburon aswell as the Elantra's!!

I will be posting pics of this SOON!

If I remember correctly, the Elantra can come with either the 1.6l beta, or the 1.6l alpha. I imagine you are speaking of the 1.6l beta, just thought I'd mention it, as somebody with the 1.6l alpha might be more than a little disappointed. smile.gif

(I can't for the life of me remember years/countries that have the alpha instead of the beta)

And what exactly is the differrence between the alpha and beta 1.6 engines??

Remember the engine bays are identical! so all the components will fit 100% - the only thing I would need to revise is the turbocharger for the alpha and beta engines, if there is a difference, otherwise the turbo would be the same T3 supplied for the 1.6 16V engine.

The Alpha and Beta are two completely different generations of engines. They are different sizes (physically), different block designs, different fuel systems, different head designs, different internal sizes (bore, stroke, etc), and on and on and on.

What you design for the Beta won't work with the Alpha.

Thanks for that! The engine we have in S.A is the BETA --- it looks and is the same size as the BETA 2 engine but 1.6 litre.

The kit will only work on this engine!

Thats right!

There are no pistons included, but you need to ship me your head so that I can build it up to lower the CR. That costs you nothing, and is part of the kit.

Guys ---

New release for the CNK Turbo kit ----- I now include the D/pipe fully ceramic coated AT NO EXTRA COST!!

Alec, John, Steve, Kevin, Pete, Harry, Brian, Carry and Chris --- all your kits will also include this coating free.

Just my 2 cents worth -- hope you all like that!
