Just as an update...It was 142.9 mph in less than 1,2Kilometers....
Reached 220 in +- smile.gif 800Meters and 230+ at around 1.2 km!!!

Note at the speed we were doing distance goes by FRIGGIN quick!!!

BTW, was that a standing start?

 

Hey I was the one that got that correct ussumption ABout the steering wheel being on the rightside of the car.

It was a standing start - I also slipped 4th gear -- so lost a little distance.... :-)

I was driving --- this nite and Grant took the pics.

You should have seen the Branch, Turbine housing, D/pipe and W/gate after that run ... GEEESH!! Pitty the pics didn;t come out.

 

Why?

 

Becauase the camera does focus in the dark, and the flash would have fouled the picture up.

 

What happened to those parts you've mentioned?

 

They were RED HOT --- it was in the middle of the nite - and when we opened the bonnet immediately after that hard run -- the entire branch, turbine housing, W/gate and D/pipe was GLOWING RED HOT!!
