I think everyone remembers the rd2 that had the fiberglasses strips across the tops of its headlights, and i think socks did it too
well my question is can this be done in cf and screwed on to have the same effect? everyone give your opinions and let me know if there is interest and if it is possible.

thats very possible actually, just need a bumper, paper clip, stick of sugerfree Trident and ........... errr well just the bumper (headlight cutouts) will do.
There of course would be a minor seem line where they join but it would be Very minor

To do a 'stick on' version would look pretty bad. They would be mounted to the bumper instead of to the actual light (like the RD1) and you'd see the crack. It would definitely look 'stick on' rather than a nice smooth aggressive look like that one.
And that is Socks' car. Noob. haha.gif

^^^^ butters, half the point of cf is that it LOOKS good (it weighs less but its eyelids who cares lol). if you where to mold these cf inserts they wouldn't LOOK like cf. you might as well do what SOCKS did.

I still think the best idea for RD2's is a headlight cowling on each headlight.

^^ What do you mean by a cowling? Not sure how that would look, maybe a quick photoshop?

(oooh, just used the 'fast reply' feature, nice!!)

i know that was sock's car, i found it after i made the statement. and i wasnt thinking to have it separate, i was figuring one big piece, that went a little above the top of the head light, and stretched down and inward to create that look.
