ARK Billet Antenna
Well I just ordered one today since I will be the test dummy wink.gif . Once I get it in I will take so pics of it and the install. I'll also do a DIY write up on it even though I cant imagine it will be too difficult to figure out smile.gif .

LOL. Yeah Unscrew old antenna and screw in new antenna.
^^^ Wish it was that easy! Well I got the antenna in on Friday. It looks really nice. The adapter piece is not really needed. The adapter replaces the chromed piece that goes under the antenna. The only problem is that to remove that you need to take the interior panels off. And it is just way too cold right now. But any way, the antenna will screw onto the stock "adapter" and that is how I have mine until it gets a little warmer. As for the antenna works. Compared to the stock antenna it is about 95+ percent. No real noticable difference but it certain low areas I think the hight of the antenna makes the reception drop a little. As I said tho, not very noticable. I did not have time to take pics due to the holidays but I will take some this weekend and post them up.
Overall rating on performance 4.75/5
Overall rating on looks 5/5
Overall rating on ease of install (without the adapter) 5/5
I will post up as soon as I get the adapter installed as well with how easy that was.

I've seen the billet antennas on Gks. They are awesome. If I wasn't so hateful of exterior looks I'd buy one. I want 180-200 to the wheels first though, then the purtiness. wink.gif

Tried that. It seems like it is being held in by something from below. It will move about 1/8th of an inch and then wont move any further.
