Default April Buy?

Just wondering if anyone knows where the shipment is for the april group buy, and if anyone knows about how much longer till it reaches the east coast?

The 40 foot container arrived in Los Angeles from Korea on Monday. Its clearing customs now. Today or tomorrow, they will unload the container, send it to the shipper, and then they will forward it to everyone who has bought kits. I'm hoping that they will get there by next Friday.

I think you guys should ship them out like overnight shipping or something since we had to wait so long. I'm not being a prick but everyone had there hopes of getting them like a week ago. I had a few local car shows I had to cancel out of since I got nothing to show. I think we deserve a little something for waiting. Either quicker shipping or something like free set of guages. I don't know. And I still havn't gotten my member info while i'm at it. My name is Anthony McHale. But anyway. Am I the only one that thinks this??

First of all, any kind of compensation is up to Sam. We apologize if you had to cancel out of a show or two, but there will be many other shows to represent at. In the world of international shipping, there are too many steps involved to be able to hit a delivery date on the nose. There is the actual purchase of the kits in Korea, then the packaging of them by a packaging company, then the transportation of them to a dock, then the passing of paperwork for them to be shipped, then another company loading them onto a 40 foot container, then the transport of it to the boat, then the couple week boat ride to the L.A. port, then the passing of customs at the L.A. port, then having a company ship it from the port to the shipping company, then the shipping company unloading all crates from the container, then having them send it out after locating a truck to do so. There are so many places for it to be held up, its not even funny. But thats how it is when you import large things like this.

They are shipped out freight of course, so there is no UPS or FEDEX next day services for these type of things. We are trying to make sure it gets there as fast as possible, but its really out of our hands, once we ship it from Korea.

Member info? You havent gotten your stickers yet? Please let me know...

I have something to say about this April Group Buy, I love Shark Racing and our team but I have to say what I have to say or i might lose it. First of all I know that sending stuff, especially large quantaties of material overseas to another nation is very complicated and time elapsing process, but when you advertise to us customers that the Group Buy orders should arrive to us in Mid May than we expect it to, because most likely most of us bought the kits in mind with a time schedule. But something happens that can't be helped and it latens our expected delivery time. But I've given about half a month giving me enough time to get the kits in time to paint it and to install it for my areas biggest import event of the year. I also had the timing scheduled that I could get my driver side door fixed form an accident, so made the insurance wait till my kit arrive and get the repaires and installations done at the same time. So I expected to get my sh;t and blow these H-Town Jap Ricers of the water with my modifications, so trusting on my love and hope of Shark Racing I go of and tell all these local ricers to wait till the event and we'll see whats up. I was also going to use the event to advertise our team and Shark Racing on the virgin hyundai owners who might not know about us. Now I find out that I won't be able to get my kit and wing and gauges in time for the event so I am shamed by my friends who expected a show from me and going to be a joke of the month to the local ricers in H-Town, and my insurance company has been at my neck for the past few weeks. Now this is what I am so pist about, if I knew this delay was predictable I would have not been so excited and I thought this was avoidable since SR has been in business for a while and they have done and gone through these process that make such delays before so would be able to avoid these types of situations, but I guess I was wrong from the beginning. I am not dogging on SR, come on now I am part of the official Team SR and I just wanted to let you guys know why I been bugging everyone about the orders from April Group Buy. Out of everyone I am probably the main person who have been irritating Sam and Brad most about this issue. But now everyone knows why.

I know that shipping can take time and stuff but I agree with Korean on this. I have the ame problems excpet for the accident. I have someone waiting to put full grafix on my car and I can't get them on till my kit is on and he's getting very impatient. But i've said my word on the subject. And if any compensation is up to Sam...Well???

About my member stuff. I ordered that in begining of april. I got my tailights, and my clear corners but still no stickers. My name is Anthony McHale. That's just another reason why i'm so pissed. Thanx for hearing me.

Great. The dang mailman must have lost your stickers. You had an earlier number, and they were sent out weeks ago if Im not mistaken. But perhaps someone stole it when it got to your house, because I didnt get any returned to sender letter. If you want your original number re-done, we will have to remake it, which might take a couple weeks. Otherwise, I can give you a choice of the numbers that we still have available that I can send ASAP.

Well it wouldn't have gotten stolen cause it was sent to a mail center. I know they wouldn't have lost it cause we deal with all our business stuff from there and they don't lose things. As far as the mailman I guess that's it. I would like my original number please. I'll wait. I've waited this long for everything else what's the diff.
