Hi-Flows aren't illegal in WV, I can almost guarantee it.

You could, but you could get it welded to the piping.

Check with your local laws, but I'm fairly sure WV isn't too strict on their emissions laws. Hi-flows filter probably 90% as good as regular cats, but are less restrictive. In most states, they fail you if you have a CEL, and Hi-Flows if installed properly won't do that.

As for the flanges, you probably will need to get under your car to see if you have a 2 or 3 flange exhaust, and try and find a cat according to that. Chances are it won't fit exactly, however. So some welding may have to be done by an exhaust shop.

you know 00tibby i have the same questions and i was going to ask. i was looking at racing cats and if they are illegal. i think they are, but why would they be? they look a little bit like resonators but they're entirely not. and look like they would fit very well in between downpipe and cat-back.

i'm having the same problem with choosing a cat. i do not know if all of those accord racing cats from ebay would fit here. there is no universal one really. the motoria from ebay comes with one.

Tim, maybe you have some connections to some catalytic converters? racing ones?
