Got mine and installed it in 15 minutes........................hah nah, it took me like 2 hours, using a 3/4 inch spade drill bit and knife to make a hole in the light cover lol. Also was very confused at a couple of the connectors mainly the mesh covered ones from each light and the two pronged connector from the relay but I ended up calling Jay, three times, blowing a fuse, having Jay tell me there's extra's in the kick box, learning some stuff while I was at it and getting em' done and I am very happy. They make a sweet hum when the first turn on too, and they just destroy stock. It was a sunny as it could be and I aimed the car into the garage, went from high beams to these and you could see so much more with the 8000k's. Thanks a lot Jay and will get pics.

Yeah, I like the hum. Same here. Wish the runners could be HID's too.

Well here's what they look like. Basically pure white. I would really like them to be more blue but no one hear said that 8000k is basically pure white. 1000k would be the way to go if you want to match the BMW style.

Anyone want to switch, your 10000k for my 8000k lol.

Not the perfect representation. They have a slightly more blue projection on the road than this pic.

Just to let everyone know that the BMW's, (higher end) Acura's, Mercedes Benz, Audi's and etc that comes with HID's from the factory uses somewhere around the 4300K color temp, which is a pure white light output. The reason why their headlight light output appear more bluer/purple is because of the composition of their headlight projector lenses.

Blank_00Tib,

If you look closely directly at your 8000K HID's yes they are white since you are seeing the raw/basic form of it's light output... but once it interacts with it surrounding (bounces off surfaces, mirrors, goes through your camera lenses, eyeglasses, windshield and in different angles and distances) the "blue" comes out of it's light output. Just try it, have someone drive your car and have them follow you around on another car (you in the front) and look at your rear view mirrors.

Also, as you go on a higher color temp, the HID light out put will appear little dim compared to the lower K ones since there is more color added into it now. But if you still want a 10000K (although the kit came in from java) I will gladly do an exchange for you.

Yeah I saw em from like 300 feet and they looked good. Easy to see the difference when you have other halogen cars on the road to compare to. I'm happy with them, don't think i'll need to swamp them, and thanks again for the C.S.
