Some of you may have remembered crying when seeing my tib:
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtop...mp;#entry325812
But I have tried fixing the outside of it. Basically I grabbed some bondo and went at it. I had no experience with bondo and to top it off planned on painting the car myself afterwards.
This had been planned for quite some time but me and my friend kept putting it off. It's like every time we plan to goto the junkyard something makes us not go. Well the night before we were going I randomly suggested we stay home and work on the cars.... So here we are.
First some pics before wash:
After Wash:
My fav for some reason
Then we started applying bondo:
Not sanded
what it looks like when you apply dried bondo...
First layer sanded
You can see in the pic below i sanded my light a tad sad.gif
Now after that I was too dirty to take pics, wasnt my camera. And when we painted I didn't bring the cam...
So here are some pics of when i got done at 5am. Not complete yet but looks badass at night lol.
Me and my friend drove each others cars so we could see what they looked like. My tib now looks mean instead of like a little girls car.

^i completely agree! your friend should get a tiburon! haha... it's funny i thought he was helping you out there in the background when he's really playing guitar. laugh.gif
that;s insane. what are you going to do with it? and you should remove the window liner and get in there too. looks good, also make sure you completely smoothen out the edges of that bondo because the slightest line sticking out when painted and you'll get what's known as a continent.
keep up the good work.

Good to see you're making some progress. But it looks like you should have prepped it a little more carefully before painting, and maybe used a few more coats.
Do you plan on using clear coat? or you just want it flat black?

Its still a work in progress, I just painted the whole car so it wouldn't look all patchy. Everyone seems to look at it like this is the final thing. I will sand it all down again, i need to sand some of the original paint still because of some bubbling in a small section.
****This is in progress and is in no way what it will look like when finished****
(not talking about anyone inspecific, just alot of people in real life as well like to tell me it doesn't look good because some sections are not as well coated as others. Yes more work in the long run but that's how I roll. I'm not a body shop and can not do all the work in a few hours)
That said, here's some work I got done before the rain was coming:
1st 2 are the same just 1 taken regular and 1 high sensitivity
Same as first 2
Looking at it from the passenger door
Comparison of the side that has no damage
just a couple profile pics
Shows how low my car is for the people that tell me my mudguards shouldn't scrape on speed bumps.
Although my drive way got in the way a bit, but not by much
Slightly above pic
And close up

A quick walk around:

I assumed you were not finished, I just said you should have prepped a bit more carefully because you got paint on your windows and lights. And I know that can be kinda annoying.
But it seems to be comming along, good job.
