Update!. Motor Bay, Led Corners
wow, fantastical really. can you tell me where you bought the LED bulbs, and some other info including what size they are, brand etc? that looks really really good and seems like a cheaper alternative to HIDs
They're an ebay special, it was $13/bulb, but I think you can get them a little cheaper then that. Those are the 12 LED bulbs 1157 size. I have 10000K HID's on the way too wink1.gif
my powedercoater guy has candy apple green metallic. looks close to a dead on match to your car color.
but i think if you just used sterling silver ceramic coat on the headers and then just took the time to clean the aluminum head you would be surprised.
I'm gonna say it again bud, blackout them clear corners and headlights and just install that HID system.
that CAI is just plain sick!

Whatever you do, do not use ANY form of degreaser unless you want to use rubbing compound and polishing compound to get it un-splotched. My engine paint was pretty much destroyed the day before a show. I ended up spending a few hours at the show with a last minute "OH SHIZZ!!!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN" and polishing the hell out of my engine paint.
I like to use silicone lube on everything. Hoses, metal, plastics, everything. Keep it off the paint. It's an extreme solvant when it comes out of the can. The solvent wears off quickly though, and the silicone dries to a shiney surface which repels and does not collect dust. If you can find liquid wrench silicone lube anymore, get that. It's the best stuff I could find, but most auto stores have ditched it for more powerful silicone lubes. The liquid wrench stuff is the only paint safe silicone lube I've ever seen. It even dries to a polishable surface
But, yeah... Silicone lube is the best engine cleaner I've found. Then for shows, I wipe some armorall on select parts.
