The car is running great! As soon as I hit the gas its a beast, instant boost. As the car drives now I ran 170.39 whp and Torque was 166.20 at 5 psi on the dyno. Here is the run down as what I have installed so far...
~TD04 13G Mitsubishi Turbo (Alpine Developments) ~Cast iron exhaust manifold (Alpine Developments)
~Cast aluminium throttle body elbow, including 5th injector (Alpine Developments)
~ Air to Air intercooler (Alpine Developments)
~NGK plugs
~Walbro 255 lhp fuel pump
~2001 Hyundai Sonata 290cc fuel injectors
~Turbo XS BOV
~Trial wastegate w/ 5psi spring
~Greddy Emanage

I added the pics for the people who didnt want to follow the link, nice site tho.
Car looks great and i bet 170whp is nice in a light little accent but, why havent you went with more boost? the beta can handle alot more even if you keep stock compression and such.

Thanks for adding the pics. Yeah, with the boost being so low is that the shop says I need something to control the timming and then I can add more boost. They say they have too custom fab one or do you guys know of something I can do for timing to work with GReddy emanage?

the beta can handle at least 8-10psi with no timing adjustments..
i have a modded ECU that will work with the emanage so you can control the timing.. i never installed it and probably never will.. it was t4turbotibs ECU when he had it in his car, now i have it. if your interested let me know. we can work out a deal.
but yeah, the shop is just being careful obviously, but you can push more boost with the stock timing. just make sure you have 1 or 2 step colder plugs.

On that modded ecu I am still running the accent's ecu and wiring harness. Is it a Accent ecu? How can I run more boost? A bigger wastegate spring? What colder plugs should I go with?

o, i figured you were running the beta ECU.. sorry.. i think they have a conversion harness to go from accent ECU to beta ECU.
all you need to run more boost is get a boost controller. then just adjust it up and add more fuel.
the stock plugs are BK7*** i think, and you should get like a BK6*** or BK5***.. something like that. lol just go up to the local auto parts store and ask for a plug 1 or 2 steps colder than stock.
the ECU i have will allow you to adjust the timing via the emanage (its internally wired to be able to modify the ignition)

Question... Why did you buy a walbro for running 290cc injectors? Given, you are running another one as well, but that's overkill on the fuel end man... Get some colder plugs like socks said too. There's an adjustable timing gear available for our betas, that might do what you need. I'm not sure though...

I had already installed the walbro before the turbo install and I am not running that 5th injector. Its for sale and the Unichip if anyone wants it?
