I seen them, they wasn't "broken" earlier. He must have reorganized his photobucket.
Although when you see them, they are kinda teasers anyway. The ones I seen anyhow.

put the majority of the painting surface perpendicular to yourself if you can, makes it a good deal easier to get even sprays once the top coats come. i've had a drip drop from the needle of the spray gun too, right on to a mold i was spraying from the top like that. that gun was pretty f'ed up though.
you going to do the whole car yourself?

tib01, this is just a heavy build primer that will still need to be blocked and wet sanded so at the moment this will work. Once the base gets on the setup will change.
Yes, I'm doing the whole car but the doors/skirts/bumpers/hood/trunk/fenders/ are all done separate.

Everything taped up, mouldings removed and ready to shoot tomorrow morning. Then comes the vigorous guide coat and block sanding followed by another coat of primer, then the wet sanding begins.

Holy crap... How long did it take you to prep that?
How much do you think it will cost you to do it yourself? and how long will it take you, in total hours? That looks pretty intense.

As far as prep, I consider the booth, cleaning, and masking as final prep. Not the bodywork and sanding. So with that said, I have about 30hours into just booth building, cleaning, and masking.
As far as total bodywork from start to finish I have about 9months dedicated to it so far, and that's working on it EVERYDAY. I don't have pics of all the rust that was cut out, new sheetmetal formed and welded in, new quarters made, new rockers, etc, but that took about 3 months to do. Every bracket, part was sandblasted and repainted.
As far as cost, I try not think about it. It would of been cheaper to send it to the bodyshop, but they'd only do a half ass job. I'm paying attention to every detail, they wouldn't unless I take it to a hot-rod shop for full resto, but thats 40-60k lol. Rough estimate from day 1 to now including all equipment, extra tools, materials etc has been around 11,500k. It's a good thing I do my own labour, because the MAJOR cost would of been labour. 9 months of it, every single day lol.
Thanks mwood, I can't wait till its done, been waiting to drive it for 4 years.
