I think ALL black wheels would be the icing on the cake. Thats just my opinion

Well if you enjoy the steelie look then I guess black would work, I personally hate it.

I think the lip adds that separation that makes it stand out.

Wheels can make or break a ride. I think they compliment the car

I'm talking like a 5 or 6 spoke, 18"/19" in gloss black.

Normally, in this instance as well, people have chrome/polished lips and nothing else chrome or polished on the car, just stands out to me.

What matters is you like it, sounds like you do. Just constructive criticism

I'm looking at going with Vossen CV1's in Gold next time around. The rims I have now around about 5grand, so, they're not just something you throw away, Volk GT-F's, discontinued. I think if you can find a good set they still go 3-4grand easily.

I also dont like that bumper on the GC, look like a cheap wide body appearence trick or something lol. Also in the first picture, i think the white GC with the silver wheels, those would actually make the car look even better, love those wheels.

Yet, the Veloster has a bumper line similar, and it looks amazing???? Cant figure that one out though...

yeah i'm not too fond of the wheels either. the ones on the white Gen are cool though. i think rims are the most essential part of how a car looks.

It's not a cheap wide body appearence....my front has been widened by almsot 2'' on either side. I'll be working on the rear this fall.

I love my wheels, I wouldn't have spent what I did on them if I didn't. But before I did my appearance change I had a black/gunmetal theme. I'm looking at going with Gold rims next but we'll see.

haters gon' hate, that's the only front bumper I've ever liked on that body style, and the widebody helps even more.
