Hey guys. So ya'll remember last time I posted, my car looked like this:
....yeah blame that on "irresponsible" driving. lol
So its been almost 7 months. Since then I've picked up a new door and was lucky enough to score another set of the same fenders. I also finally lowered it (after 5 years of driving stock ride height tiburons) and wondered why I never did it previously.
Today I finally got around to throwing the new door and fender on. We're gonna mold the skirts in next. But before we put the fender on, I remember that maybe 2 or 3 years ago I had an idea to put some LED lights in the vents of the fenders. So I grabbed some as well as some plastic mesh, and fiberglassed teh mesh to the fender with the LED units attached. Then I wired em up to the corner lights so they turn on with them, but dont blink.
Anyway, check out the pics. We'll be molding everything and doing some final touches before it goes in to be painted.

I'm so stoked about the LEDs, we're gonna do they same to the other side as well.

Nah, same rims, they just migrated from the driver's side to the passenger's side, lol. I gotta get new tires and then I'm gonna paint them a dark gunmetal color.
The LEDs I got from a little electronics store, they were $5/unit and each unit has 3 LEDs.

Yeah I just took a look at them in the dark, they look sick with the HIDs. The color matches pretty well. As for the lowering, I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! I'm running KYB struts with intrax springs (which just so happened to be purple, not that you can see them anyway though, lol)

Your tib turned out to be one of my favorite ones! Really nice job and i was planning on asking you one day why hadent you lowered it but never got to asking you.
Anyway, it looks sick, and it'll look way better when you're all done. Nice idea about the LEDs also. fing02.gif

looks good liz, i'm surprised you're still fighting for that body after so much. be careful driving on a lowered bodykit. i don't want to read one more thread "i'm out of the scene".
