Well I've added some new parts to the Tib & I thought I'd see what you think.
1st is the Pace Maker headers that I got from a wreaker. They needed a new flex pipe & some welds repaired, then a coat of high temp paint.
B4 paint.
After Paint.
Then came a new muffler, which sounds gr8.
Next, some new plates.
Finally change over from oem stick to gas struts for the hood.

Let me know how that header paint works out. For some reason I've stripped and painted my headers according to 2 different manufacturer's directions 3 times now. They keep flaking up and the paint falls off. The last time, it held great, then I took a 250 mile drive to NOPI Nationals car show and when I popped my hood, I had to use a wire brush to get about 1/2 of the flaked paint off of the headers... what a disaster.
Let me know how yours works and then post a DIY or at least let us know how you did it in this thread if it can hold up to 100 miles straight on the highway.
Your car's looking good. How much for the gas struts?

col, car is lookin good. love the headers.
dtn, use the flameproof stuff and bake it according to the directions.. itll hold up.. ive had it on my turbo manifold for a while now, and it gets alot hotter. and mine looks PERFECT still.

How well did that kit work out? Did it mount easy? Tell us more and get some pics of it.
How strong are the struts? I want that kit on my car, but am worried with the CF hood that they'll be too strong.
BTW, your muffler is upside down.

I agree. I think the muffler and pipes do look better that way. Upside down or not, I like it. fing02.gif
