whoa.. i was just scrollin down and i seen my car.. im like that looks familiar.. then im like WTH.. lol i dont care.. flaunt my pics wink.gif neway, i think i am going to nite shade my tails as well as paint the insides of headlight housings a flat black, to go along with the blue/dark look of my car.. i wont be painting the actual reflector part (hi beam) but the rest of the chrome will be flat black.
looks pretty good, i would say make em like 40% transparent.

ummm .... your gonna paint the inside of your headlights flat black ?? the shiny part ?? i think if you do that you would lose night visibility. i dont know to what degree but i think flat black would be a bad idea, maybe tinting wouldnt be so bad so it can still reflect of the inside housing.... just thought i would share .... :?
Looking at the lights on both the RD and the RD2... if you just painted the "trim" inside the light black it would not be a big deal. On the RD there is that HUGE expanse of chrome that covers both the Low and high beams.. paint that black and it will not affect the light quality.. might even improve it with less "scatter"
On the RD2 there is a chrome "ring" infront of the lens of the lowsand in front of the reflector of the highs.. do that ONLY and it will not alter your light patterns
