I simply bought it because I thought that was the plainest looking part of my vehical and wanted to spice it up a bit. Weather it directs air or not, i don't know. It does have a gap for air to go through.

i like it ..make the tib your own. i bet it would look really cool from the side without the sunr open..nice though...but please take a pellet gun with you when you ride around..you need it for them birds

I don't know if that helps Tiburons, but I did some searching, and it seems roof spoilers do assist with better fuel economy on some cars. Here's one article. That one mentions the "vortex generator" that Mitsubishi uses on some cars, I guess it actually is functional. Report back on any mpg changes. smile.gif
This is interesting. I wonder if some of the body kits that eliminate the small upper grill on the front bumper actually improve gas mileage? And I remember reading an article somewhere about a guy who put a single flat sheet of aluminum under his car for racing purposes, but gave himself a nice boost in economy as well.
