Return of the dupleman...but I never left
I am perhaps coming into my last year of coupe ownership next year signifies the start of a search iv intended to do for a good few years now-the search for a ford mustang.
Several things changed in my life this year, the loss of my long term partner and entering into a relationship with Jo,plus various other problems concerning my ex wife and daughter which is still ongoing and may force another year of ownership of what is perhaps one of the most unusual cars on the site. Not by any means as i want this gone but practical good sense indicates it will be 8 years old next year and i want my dream car......so on with my tuscani passion.............
easy to see some of the advertising used on the car to generate some revenue which has been used in the modding
Abs dynamics front splitter bought from selondontiburon, which is nearing end of its life speed humps just dont agree, also you can see the rare concepto grill,in my opinion the best grill you can buy
showing the dupleman D logo and web address source of so much business is this car driving around with the D on the car.spot through the wheels the BBK,big brake conversion kit
The old paper doiley alloys,as scout refers to them....wolfrace bushidos which are not to everyones taste but formerly graced fazs silver and black coupes.....people like them or loathe,no middle ground. Also shows how low the expensive 40mm dropped bilstein coilovers stance is
from the back one of my favourite mods is the high level spoiler.....always loved it as well as the ark mini ariel, and the eyelines from solvenian tuscani
following from the back you can see the rare concepto diffuser and i love the black lights-always have....mick doyle made the spats and they are truly superb
Nearly a blast from past as i write this the winner of the 2010 car of the year on UKHCC was me! you can also see the carbon fibre roof done by ultimate vinyl
bonnet and grill and splitter all done by projectwrap the bonnet of course being a vented actual carbon bonnet, the first one imported by PC to the uk.It got damaged hence why its wrapped
one of my favourite items are the big chavvy billet badges....as far as i know the only set in uk purchased from faz who paid an absolute fortune
Cylon? nope-under the bonnet through the grill
pretty lil angel eyes....one of the first shark racing sets
first set in the uk of shark racings angel fogs.....expensive but worth it
last sneaky shot of diffuser..........subtle joke lost on so many people
couple of shots of the recently fitted lambo headaches
Dont regret fitting just wouldnt do again
most things on the interior are hand stitched in expensive red leather....guage pod was handbuilt by a former member to the highest standards, double din fitted and guages moved so built in tv,dvd and sat nav as well as ipod
Drivers cabin showing metal monkey dials and hand stitched steering wheel from sIII which cost an absolute bomb to do
seats took ages to do patiently stitched by jason with diamonds and headrests replaced as well
A vision of leather....the rear cabin complete with hand stitched side panels
here you can see the extra guage pod soon to be filled with vacuum guage and exhaust gas guage...and something else....pure rice i know but worth it for advertising
the trunk build which kept the boot space but incorporated subs and amp under the floor and all the speakers were replaced as well
6 hours of stitching....the legendary duke box
unique flat rear parcel shelf, all hand done
and finally iv just started on the engine bay-carbon fibre covering, strut brace and overboost intake manifold complete with sri intake and a grounding kit.......you can also see the wrapped header
how much further that will go i dont know....

just wrapped the strut brace for something to do
and sorted out the problem with obvious corners.....in the UK we have something called an MOT-a once yearly check and i failed on having indicators with no bulbs....so in a cheap flash of inspiration....

Well you'll be pleased to hear.....I'm not going anywhere and neither is the car.
Iv now bought into my own Hyundai coupe site in the uk.......
And Iv been busy!!!
For a long time in the uk Iv had problems with my steering wheel being an airbag one without an airbag so I changed it.......
Finally fitted my rear headrests......I'm making covers for them now.......
Flocked the bottom of my dash
Did my centre dash
And the glovebox
Window switch surrounds
The dash is in over Christmas for flocking
Bought new subs for trunk
Meanwhile sprayed grill and mirrors
Also sprayed bonnet
Finally did my headliner
Next move centre console and dash
