Don't have the budget for a new exhaust, plus I'm not sure I want the extra noise associated with a 2.5" system, current system is 2.25" stainless.

I think part of the torque curve issue is running the exhaust cam on the inlet side. Tbh it looks worse on the graph than it actually is, you don't really feel the dip when driving it.

not fussed about intake atm, i know it's sucking hot air but i did have a K & N Apollo intake on for a while and tbh it feels the same performance wise with both types of filters on. Maybe i'll give the apollo another go once i've finished doing a bit of bodywork

Rob,

I haven't been to HCOC in a while, but it would seem I came back recently to see another F2E bite the dust. Am I wrong, or are you the only one left with an F2E there?

nah there's a few of us now, more than there has been in a year or so. The others are mainly on the FB group, i think there's 6 now including mine. The others have only just bought their evo's so are assessing what's needed

Although one of them has owned it since new but has only just joined the club

Ah, I must have been joined on the wrong FB page. It was pretty much dead. They are both labeled HCOC. I just joined the other one and it has a lot of activity. I even saw quite a few F2 posts including the guy that still has all the documentation and an F2 umbrella!

Would you happen to know where I can get the small "evolution" badge in decent shape? I have a few of them, but they are all worn out. I called around to find out where I could get them re-chromed and no one has a clue. It would be cost prohibitive.

not many of them around, i need some for mine for the front wing. Hyundai can't get them and most of the ones on ebay will be as tatty as the ones you already have. I've half toyed with the idea of debadging it but can't decide if i want to or not

"Cost Prohibitive?" Isn't everything we do to our cars pretty much cost prohibitive?

Normally, cost doesn't matter much to me when building a car I like. But, when we're talking $600 or more to rechrome 3 tiny badges, that's just insanity.

I found a place that could possibly reproduce them. They would not quite be OEM, but might be an option. 10 of em would run about 230. So 23 per emblem. If your interested, I'll forward the email to you guys.
