Yea, I think so. But, I'm also a purist, so I may just stick with factory silver, or slightly darker.
Now is a great time to buy parts from the UK. The currency conversion favors US buyers right now.

Haven't had chance to do much recently, the new front strut mounts have arrived so i can get rid of the rusty horrible things at some point.
Also got my K&N Apollo air filter back from being airbrushed, had it done ally colour to match the rest of the bay and with a Phoenix on it. Made a bracket to house the inlet on the slam panel, it sucks quite nicely and the inlet pipe temps are much cooler than they used to be.

Flexi pipework looks a bit naff and was mainly used to make sure it works with no loss of airflow. Will get some proper pipe at some point to make it look nicer.

Also made a start on brightening up the interior, theme was to bring the outside in so have sprayed the sunroof switch panel metallic silver, managed to get some overspray on it somehow which needs sorting out

Next up was to check inside the doors for rust and treat accordingly, they weren't too bad so have just sprayed some wax oil in there as a bit of a prevention method.

While the door card was off i took the chance to carry on brightening up the interior, door handle surround has gone metallic silver with the door handle and speaker grill cover going metallic black. The switch panel was just cleaned and then i put a couple of coats of lacquer over it.

been slowly acquiring parts over the past few weeks to freshen up the front suspension, will be replacing both wishbones and front struts (with KYB Excel G ones) complete with new Hyundai top mounts from Korea and should also be receiving a set of Spax lowering springs this week.
In the meantime i have upgraded the rear speakers and while in there sprayed some waxoil inside the rear arches/top of sill area

OS_25.jpg
Was also bored one day so decided to add a couple of small vents to the bulkhead to help give the heat a little chance to escape.
EB_38.jpg
Next on the list was to sort out the engine mounts, i seemed to have a lot of play in the front and rear causing the engine to move around a fair bit. I refurbed the spare member I had and sent my spare mounts off to be refurbed and fitted with poly bushes.

After a quick sandblasting.
SF_5.jpg
Rust proofed then painted
SF_10.jpg
fresh mounts with the poly bushes
SF_13.jpg
and all fitted

I reckon this is fecked
