Caj: yupp it's a mitsu motor smile.gif

SOCKS: nope it won't be AWD. too much of a hack job to get it running AWD. instead I'm using the evo 4wd gearbox but having it locked to FWD.

It certanly does look like it fits nicely in there. How do the brackets look?

Caj/DTN: ehe there is not much that I can share with you guys right now, but the engine mounts do not line-up slightly. As such the brackets have to be fabricated or something like that, i didn't really get what my mech was telling me.

but from what I observed, our RD1 engine mounts are more forward than the evo's. hence the engine is too forward and the radiator wouldn't fit and etc.

initially i wanted to put in the evo steering rack, but it doesn't line up either, so i'm using back the RD1's steering rack. Drive shaft will get them changed to the evo's.

lots of space in front for the intercooler, but the bumper has to be cut slightly. also, I might consider moving the battery to the back of the car as the evo engine is bigger than I had expected. pretty cramp but I would say it fits nicely cool.gif

AMAZING!

Post pics of your Recaro seat! I'm typing this massage sitting on the same, and would love to see how you mounted it.
MANY PICS PLEASE OF THE MOUNTS AND THE SEAT.

Thanks!

Looks like one hell of a project, you should definitley make (or sell LOL) a list of what all is being done and what all parts are needed.
