Talon = Eclipse man, that year they were all the same. Yours is a talon, but the 2g Talons and 1g Eclipses are exactly the same. Well, there isn't much difference.

I'm talking about the year they were actually called Eclipses. Like the green one from "That Movie". That was the first year they were called Eclipses no?? If not I am way off. They are all the same.

 

lol.gif Similar cars either way. I love 1Gs, especially around here where no one knows what they are, since everyone is a bunch of ricers. Nothing like pulling up to a Civic in an old car, having them rev and take off, then by the end of second gear you've got 6 car lengths on them. lol.gif

90-94 the 4g63t powered DSM's are Talons, Lasers and Eclipses
Plymouth made the Laser, Eagle made the Talon and Mitsu made the eclipse

95-99 are the 4g63t powered DSM's that look similiar to the green eclipse in TFATF.
when you start really learning about them is when you know what year to take parts off of what engine so you have the best 4g63t.

anyways im not sure of my plans yet for this car but id like to get it into the low 13's, high 12's which is kind of hard for a FWD DSM

Unfortunately, I'm running a 7-Bolt 4G63T in a 1998 GSX. Happily, 20k miles on this engine and no problems as of yet. Currently I'm running a 16G with FMIC @ 15 PSI. I'm running very rich, however, and I really need to get it tuned, running uber-rich again. Still ran 12.7@108 the other day, however. wink.gif

I might have a buyer locally however thats paying like 2k more than I've put into it. Which I'm very tempted to do. If I do sell, I need to find me a new project. Probably going to do something less done this time around.

 

You would probably own on that show Junk yard wars. I would deffinantly want you on my team.
