I was painting my spark plug cover today, and I didn't pop the emblems off so I have a little on the edges that got through the tape. It was the dupli-color engine enamel, anyone know a way to remove the extra? Thanks

Brake fluid will remove paint. Maybe try some on a cotton swab and be real careful with it.

Thread moved.

I've heard oops from other people but DTN mentioned to me that it might eat away some of the plastic. Maybe if you did it quickly with the oops.

Don't want to hijack the thread but I don't think it's necessary to make a new thread for a quick question. If I do this and pop of the lettering and emblem how do I put them back on?

When I did the LED needle mod I used OOPS 2 to remove the paint, since it was the only thing i found that actually said it was safe for plastics.

I use oops on needles too. But it eats certain plastics. I'd trust it on acryllic needles.

I'd probly use oops and a q-tip to clean this up then polish it with rubbing and polishing compound to bring back the shine.
