Hey Guys,
I know I don't post very often but I'm a full time creeper.
It was finally time for a change.

Your RD2 was in great condition. Did you sell it privately or trade it in? How much did you get for it?
I'm not a fan really of orange or off color wheels on cars, but they suit your car nicely. Any other plans for your Veloster?

Thanks Visions,
The dealer gave me $1000 trade in for the tib. It was starting to give me problems, and I didn't know if I wanted to spend the money that was going to be needed to get it back into the condition I'd like to have it. (That was an older picture, from a year or two ago)
Future plans for the V aren't too much now. My plan was to basically get it to look how I wanted as quick as possible, and worry about other toys later. So future plans are CAI in the near future, and hopefully the ARK Grip exhaust when they bring it out later this year.
I know I'll get hate for the rims, but I love 'em.

The orange rims with silver are a tribute to a sport version of the Porsche 911. I think of the Veloster as a propose-only vehicle forgetting the looks. But for me it's important to have both beauty and function which is why I'm keeping my Tiburon.
Yeah I think both cars have their ups and downs. The Tib though looked fun, sporty, exotic, rare. In sure it would last long too granted care. My Elantra went for 170k and and Tib at 120k but I think my mechanic screwed me because the only problem was a shift solenoid in the transmission rather than the transmissions. The key is having a good honest cheap mechanic.

The 911 is exactly where I got the colour combo from.
The Tib had just rolled over 200,000 km. Finding a cheap mechanic isn't really an issue for me. I work at a Nissan dealer so my labour usually only costs a case of beer.
The issue's I was running into was that when I bought the car it was 7 years old and had mostly sat, so rust has been the biggest thing to fight. Brake and fuel lines were both rotting apart, quarters were bubbling again (already had them redone 2 years ago). And more things that I kept letting slide were all starting to pile up.
Plus the base V in Canada comes better equipped then in the States, and I gotta say its nice having all the toys to play with.
