Sigh sad.gif , I think it's time to move on to bigger and better things. I'm still thinking about it, cuz I'm not particularly fond of white cars, but um; I took a spin in it, and goddamn thats a nice ride. Not too harsh not too soft, no sqeaks or rattles like in most RD's, and that Delta just purrs even with the stock exhaust.

Also I felt a bit more comfortable in the GK (I'm 6'4"). It still breaks my heart cuz all I've ever owned/been given are RD's but, it's hard to resist.

Nah lol, my dad bought it at a police impound auction, $9200; 2003 20k mile GS-R V6 5spd (no 6 spd available over here I've been told by dealers).

He said I could have it if we sold the 2001 RD2 I bought recently (see my new whip thread on here) and any profits over the price I bought he would keep of course. So that's why I'm thinking about it. Gonna have to sleep on it.

if your gonna get a 3rd gen, at least get a newer one with the better front end, the older ones are hella ugly.

Oh, it's bigger, but definatly not better.

And as for the squeaks and such, try lubricating hinges and such, tighten some loose stuff up, and perform regular maintenance. My car just hit 70,000 miles and is still VERY quiet.

Looks nice, but I'm not a big fan of the GK.

It's nice for the daily driver. But the Delta explodes all the time. I've seen it.
And that car is NOT a good racing platform. It's about 400lbs heavier than the RD.

If it's 400lbs heavier but does the 1/4 in 15.7 in stock form... Yeah I can live with that. Besides I'm not planning to push over 250whp if that.

What I do like is that the N/A gains are much more reasonable than with the Beta. I actually have the option of going N/A or S/C and get into the high 14's/low 14's with either. Whereas with the RD it's Turbo or nothing. Ther aftermarket support is very reasonable too.
