hey, thanks for the insight guys! you really make my taste coincide with the tiburons: there's no dissaproval! thanks guys!!! That's what I was going for when i chose the rims. something that everybody would like, i would never get bored of, and something that would match the car. but i'm glad to finally have third perspectives, and certainly, such great ones! tongue.gif

majik, the rotors are braking in! it's not even that i'm getting used to the brakes, but i feel their performance progressing. guys, from what it feels like now (after a few sets of miles), these babies are going to really kick in. it should be about a week before i start noticing the difference. there is no "spongy" feeling with the brakes anymore. what you press is what you feel--no "in between". the brake lines don't make THAT much of a difference. infact, i'd be perfectly happy with the regular ones because they're probably just as great, being there is little to no difference. the rotors are starting to grasp. it's like when you brake, the pads are like a magnet to the rotors. they grasp by themselves now.

yesterday and today it was raining mad in the morning on the way to work. i did not feel that "squeegy" or "slippery" feeling of wet brakes. they felt completly dry as if there was no water on them. no trace of rust! so far it's looking good. i'm getting lots of looks.

tibu971.8L, the rotors are probably not as important as other engine mods, however, they do look fantastic! they undoubtably help in wet conditions, they don't rust or corrode like our stock rotors, and the paint looks magnificent from every angle. it's really neat. i will have more pics after i wash my car!

I've got the rotorpro rotors and ebc's up front and hawk pads in the rear. All I have to say is my tib feels like it would stop on a dime. The brakes are much more resposive now, plus they look so much better. I've had tons of comments and several people ask me at stop lights where I got them from. now I just need to get a new set of rims and they'll look awesome. laugh.gif
