So Ive been checking Craigslist locally for a rim/tire package for about a month now and everything that shows up that I like is either gone by the time I call, or a bit too expensive for me right now. So I found these 17" ADR Spades with tires (205/40/17 w/ 98% tread) both with less than 5000 miles on them. Got the whole set for 400. They aren't my favorite, but I like them better than the stockers for sure. Ah, and I'm remembering why I loved my old 17's... The ride is so much better smile.gif

Oh and before ya'll say it... I'm painting my calipers either blue or black in the next few weeks.

those new wheels look great man. IMO I would paint the calipers black and I would paint the lip too. Probably black because the car has a dark color theme/scheme and the wheels are bright kinda IMO. Either way great deal man!

Thanks man, They still show up in the daylight with regular bulbs, but as you'd imagine, it's dimmed down quite a bit, although you can still see them. Nighttime/dusk no problem seeing them at all.
Its really kind of hard to describe in words without an example to refer to.

Never been pulled over for them, but around here in Texas they don't really care about much, We don't even have emissions testing here, unless your in Houston.
When I first got them done, I saw a patrol car parked with an officer in it, so I pulled up next to him and asked if he would mind checking them out for me. He did and said they were okay, He said as long as he could see them light up it was fine.
A separate occasion I was pulled over and issued a speeding ticket, and the officer didnt say anything about them either.
It all really depends on where you live TBH. Check with your local area to be sure.
