Well, I have been 'doing' this mod for about 10months now :shrug but now it is finished!
Got myself a spare set of lights. Then you use a hammer laugh.gif and some hot water and a pair of plumbers-wrench thingies.

The inside of the lights weren't great so I sprayed them silver. I did mask off the mirrored parts first. I
Once these have sat in a cupboard for several months stick on the covers (they come with mega sticky double-sided foam). To make doubly sure, I wrapped them with tape.
Place the lights back in the cupboard and wait for a ridiculously hot afternoon...then fit!
After a couple of days the lenses start to peel off, so I removed them and while the lights were still on the car re-postioned them. I then took them out and gave them a good silicon-ing.
As you can see, these lenses fill the gap up to the boot, which the stock ones do not.
Here you can see that the lense sticks out a bit, becaue it is a little too long.
You can see a bit of my door pocket neon in that last one smile.gif

are those the covers from KSpec? Do they replace the stock lens? (do you break it off and mount the new cover on?)

look really nice. to get the lenses to stick out less, you may want to shove the tails in the oven for like 2 min. on 350. then you can rip off all the old peices of lense that are still around the edge.
