Got an Isotta E-brake cover. Fits pretty well. Had to use some heater hose underneath it so it fit snug. Also tried some more air brush chroming! This time I chromed my spark plug cover.

Here is my Spark Plug Cover:

Looks good especially the cover.

Air brush chroming? I know what an air brush is and have used them before but chroming with it?

Is it a special technique or paint?

The paint is actually a model paint. You know, for painting model cars and planes. The paint actually stands up pretty well under the hood. Its not designed for actual engine and automotive applications, but if you are careful and take care of it, it really does a good job.

The paint is called Alclad II or Alclad 2. You give whatever you are painting a super glossy black base coat then fog it with the alclad. Creates a chrome like effect. Alsacorp makes Killercans that is a spray on chrome. You could try that as well, but its VERY expensive. The alclad is the cheapest method I have found that gives pretty good results. Not near as good as sending it off to have plated, but sure is a lot cheaper.

Ah I knew it probably wasn't just a normal paint job. I'll have to check that stuff out.

Looks almost like actual aluminum in the pic and thats better than chrome IMO.

Did you do the same to your radiator brackets? In the pic it matches the radiator pretty well.
