Got a new Sony cyber shot DSC-w50 6mega pix with carl zeiss lense. Just took a few pics nothin too fancy. These are the pics of what my car looks like after the repairs. I wish I had pics of the damage to show yall. my car looks better than before it was wrecked. we found an entire front clip of a silver rd2 wrecked in the rear. no need to paint what so ever. hood and bumper of course have blemishes but my old front end had some more rock chips and what not.

does mandrel bending make that much of a difference, especially under axle? justr curious.

nice man. i never liked the front or back end of the rd2's much, but with a bodykit, they don't look half bad. i'm sorry but i just never completely understood the point of having a hard to reach light assembly behind the actual bumper, not to mention the plastic covering the actual lamp... and then those added on rear bumper vents looking like something popping out of there. all in all that's just my opinion. i always say these things about rd2's.

i would also look out for a stainless steel exhaust. it might sound a lot better than your current setup.

Probably not that much of a difference on a 140bhp car but every little bit helps wink1.gif Besides, the point of going under-axle is to minimise the number of bends... so doing it with press bends seems like a waste of time unless it's for the "look".

ive seen that, i just dont get why anyone would take the ugliest parts of each gen, and join them, now rd1 front with rd2 rear.... straight sex yo.

well at least the best option, the rd1 rear looks way to close to the old elantra's. the lip on the rd2's hatch adds so much to it. i want to just do a headlight conversion with something, sadly the chrysler concorde looks to be the best option so far that ive been able to measure, and compare.

I agree but this one here isn't that bad...

Here's some conversions for you... good & bad...

& my personal favorite...

Sorry for the off topic homey14h but I'm glad you got your car fixed. I know how much of a pain it can be as I've had quite a bit of bad luck with cars & even a bus crashing into this car sad.gif Chassis is still sweet though fing02.gif
