So, lets begin

warning: this is goin to be a looooong post about my car... so if U dont like to read much just look at the pics...

let's start from the beginin... I bought my car few years ago... then it was imported to Croatia from Italy... It was a 1.6 engine and probably the most unequipped version (skimpy italian grumble.gif )... IT was totaly in black color and od 14" wheels eek.gif yes you read right (and again those skimpy italian grumble.gif no offense to anyone i'm just grumpin and later on it's goin to be a good thing fing02.gif )

I liked the paint job and i was proud with my car and was shoin' it around... but then I got in a minor car accident with it and I got some money in my hands... didn't know what to do with it so i inwested in some new paint job (later on I realized it would be better that I left this part for the end but on this time there was no ohter plans for my car)... So, first and the biggest investment than was the paint job:

than it got serious I sad to my self man I got to get some new wheels and I did laugh.gif

with the old original wheels:

new wheels & tires (alessio vittoria 17" i toyo T1R 215/40/17)

now i had to do some preformance so i got myself an air intake (not the best solution but what did I know than)

and I put the new exhaust:

Than the inside of the car came i place so i got a dvd headunit: JVC KD-AVX1, a Focal subwoofer and a mac Z 4100 amplifier and the wires for the conection of all that... everything worked great with strong kick... no pics of that...

so this was something like an intro... at this time i found out about the Croatian hyundai forum and club and than things began to be a little bit complicated... i met hive, aero, mav and the hole turbo crew and i went crazy that i didnt knew them even before... but it is like it is...

so first i got hood lifters:

then there was teh manifold - 4-2-1 costum made ...

and all that then looked like this :

at this time i started to think BIG

my plans where:

1. coilovers
2. to put 2.0 motor in
3. to meka a complete transform on a motor and to instal a turbine...
4. to get atleast 300HP

after some waiting and talking about it the coilovers were finaly here... and my car has laid down and it can go more if I want it wink.gif

here are two pics made by my cars doc Mav:

in the meen time I got maried and cause of that same plans had to wait...

but than everything happend so fast:

first new thing was: 1.6 engine OUT and 2.0 engine IN cool.gif

and this was just the beginin'

than I ordered some parts:

1. Turbine - Garrett T3 - trim 60 with .63 A/R
2. turbo header - OBX
3. Wastegate - OBX Intimidator 40 mm (0.3,0.5,0.8 bar spring)
4. Pump - Walbro 255LPH
5. IC - Wiltec
6. Gauges - STRi SLM II - boost, oil temp. and egt
7. FPR -
8. Piggyback - Turbo Fueller TF-10
9. new "sport clutch"
10. fifth injector - Siemens 660 cc

- I also made a big service on my car (read: allmost everything was done to put it in great shape, maybe even better than factory lol.gif)... and add an AC so I don't burn from the heat laugh.gif

here are some pics of work in progress:

allmost over:

and one i like the most for the end:

and here are some results that were measured with Gtech:

turbine is set to blow on 0.5 bar for now till I learn to drive it and then we will go for more laugh.gif

- 197 WHP
- 402 m (1/4 mile) - 14,678sec@157,10km/h
- gear shiftin' time - 0,24 sec
- 0-100 km/h - 6,648 sec
- 0-160 km/h - 15,560 sec
- first 20 m time - 2,557 sec
- 80-120 km/h - 4,054 sec

the weather while it was measured was plus 30 degC so it killed my car a little but I'm happy for now cool.gif

here is another photo or two :

not so good quality cause it's taken by mobile but just to show of cool.gif

So as I sad it was a long post, but I hope it was worth...
