yeah i see what you're saying now with lighting up the perimeter of the lights. i didn't think of it that way. i always thought lighting, especially good lighting would look beast in the mouth of the monster and it the intercooler would be nicely backlit.
the lights should go all the way around instead of a portion and i don't know why audi didn't do that either. it's kind of like what jeremy clarkson said about lamborghini superleggera on his show along the lines, "lambo is known for putting wings, vents, and thrusters on their cars. instead of taking things off they should be putting things in!"

Reminds me of:
Droooool...
So they dont actually broadcast any light right? So more of a "marker" light as apposed to a "driving" light.

Ok, just finished the lights. I added More LEDS to finish the top outline of the headlights. Also, got some daytime pics. Not quite as brite as I was hoping, but its a good start. Its wierd, At night, they are seriously bright. Looks about half the power of my HID's! But the daylight zaps them. Not sure what to do, maybe add a second row behind them to brighten them up. I'll look into it in the next few weeks.
Anyways, here are some update pics of my progress so far. AND, my new Type R bumper, but I suppose thats off topic! wink1.gif

i LOVE how the LED's stands out in the daylight! BEAUTIFUL!!

wow, that looks really nice.. even in the daytime.. looks pretty neat then also.
really love the look of the type R bumper on the car. an HD lip would really set it off IMO. it would lower the profile of the car a bit, protect the bumper and look oemish.
can't wait to see the car with the king sides..
you will have to take me for a drive when you come down for the ABQ BBQ.

Wow, just WOW> You made those yourself?
When I get this set of headlights I've got refinished, I want your help doing that.
