I hope this encourages people that you dont need to spend a whole lot of money to make your car look good. When you cant afford to buy those name brand stuff, make it yourself. haha.
Its not painted yet but i couldnt keep this to myself, i just had to show it off.

"HD" skirts eh!? You should make a whole Home Depot Kit & sell it through Flyryde. You could sell it for $50 & probably still make a decent profit fing02.gif

naw this is what they use to make a garage door seal when closed. its not that easy to use in the front cause the rd1 has couple curves.

i agree that its iffy for a lip on the rd2. i have a piece that i bought awhile back for a front lip on my integra. worked great for that, but when i held it up to the tibby, just didnt look right for anything, so i never bothered.
definitly take a look at the brick cornering stuf, its a better material to use. its a very hard plastic, plus it has V's cut into the mounting on the back, so its fully bendable.

anyways...
i have no clue where you can purchase the front lip. Like the part i had to make it was from my dads warehouse in which it was suppose to be used as a a seal between the garage door and floor.
The side skirts on the other hand can be found in homedepot for sure cause i bought it there and its also what they use to seal the door and the floor. I got a 16' one and i made the sides and have some extra. i got it for around 12 bucks i think.
first you line one end of the materal at one side then screw more as you go on. Dont use too long of a screw because they will not go through metal and push ur stock skirts lower. So screws should be around half and inch long. also, you should pull the material as you screw them in so that they are straight.
one more thing- the material is kinda shaped like in an L. mine had a long side but then the part where its screw ed to my car has very little space to screw so it fitted kinda perfectly.
good luck.
