current work in progress hyundai x3 turbo first pic is a bit edited as iam puting skyline vents and small plate tell me what ya think?

Damn.. Ive never seen a toyo motor in a accent! Ive been out of the game for a while but that looks awesome! Mad props. Bumper looks great too.

Can you tell us a little about the engine swap?

Was it a direct fit?

How much modification was needed?

What transmission are you using?

What ECU are you using?


If its a simple swap, I can see alot of Accent owners doing this to their cars now. smile.gif

was no direct fit

mods done up to hook up below

custom 4 mounts that are still in the original place
custom forged shafts that resist 400bhp
custom linkages adapter from hyundai to toyota box (sifts gears great)
decat (down pipe turbo)
standard 4efte ecu
uncut loom from starlet gt
aircondition removed
power stearing removed
removed hi/low boost solinoid
original hks sqv3 latest generation
apexi dual cone filter and custom piping
zisco custom front strut bar
zisco custom lower bar
zisco strut rear bar (in the boot)
hdi starlet fmic

why'd you swap in that motor rather than a beta? I looked up the specs and it makes less horsepower/torque turbocharged than a beta N/A.
