Thnx for the reply so far..
Jason; nope, it's the mighty 2,0 ltr fing02.gif
Righto!
As i said earlier, first thing i did with the car was to install some more ice.. Not much mind you!
Started of with a strip of the luggage
Cleaned it and laid out some wireing
Found a nice spot for my amp... ProAudio something..(get the specs later)
But! When i was almost done... i thought... "How 'bout that little xtra.."
One thing LED to another... Get it¿! HA!
Started experimenting...
Things went on without any problems... (which i'm not used to!)
I threw in the woofer... (Spectron 12" with something watts..)
Turned on the lights
And i was one happy camper!
Finito!
The second thing i did was to install an open air-filter..
Which made a humonges difference in sound!
O.T.. mind the spelling guys...couple of years since i was in school... laugh.gif

And now.. let me tell you all the story of "Huyndai on ICEY roads"...
Winter... mid Feburary... just picked up my fatherinlaw at the airport...
I'm cruisin' on the freeway at normal speeds..( 55-60 mph) When he says..." Take this exit!"
So i brake.. and braked some more.... So i told him... "Hold on... damnit..."
Then the turn comes, so does the rear of my Tibbylishous...
Well. to make the story short... i kinda "re-molded" the front left-side...
Spring came and i started my magic... (just play along..)
"Mind the bump"
Started playing with the idea of a Hyundai beach-buggy... didn't go through with it though..
And the sad thing is.... I still havn't had a paintjob..

Nice lil' RD1! Piece of advice, get rid of that filter on MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) set-up and at least buy a $20 cheapo eBay intalke to move the filter down towards your battery. You need a spot for your Intake Air Temperature Sensor to go into before the Mass Air Flow Sensor, plus the filter on MAF ain't good for the sensor, it's made to measure a linear air flow and that filter on one side is definetly not creating a linear flow into the MAF.
Or buy a nice AEM intake, they're worth every penny!

That makes me SOOOOOOOOO horney! I really really like that. I may have to do something similar.
You should check out the DIY I made on dancing LEDs. You could hook that up as a level 1 setup. I think it would add ALOT of flare to have those bad boys pulsating with the music. Just make sure you pay attention and don't overdrive them when calibrating

This does not make me horney. An unsecure piece of electronics in a trunk is a safety hazard and will decrease the life of the equipment. Think what would happen to a laptop (even with a solid state hard drive) if you placed it in the trunk like that. it's hard on the equipment to be bumped twice every time you hit a imperfection in the road. It gets bumped up and then bumped when it hits back on the ground. It's hard on the wiring which is all that is securing it. Worst of all it screams "I did this in my driveway and I still don't know what I'm doing". You could make something out of plywood and secure it in the same way it is currently positioned.
Overall, I like what you've done to your car. It's very nice looking and you take care of it too. But please secure that amplifier (sorry to be so harsh).
