Yah, i guess you guys are right, it's never really done. I appreciate your comments. If I use eibach springs to lower my car about 1-1.5 inches, will this be too low for the front bumper??

And to answer the question on MEGAN seats, the install was a b*^%h, but got it done. Feels good! They run $450 /pair shipped. from most ebay vendors. Megan Racing retails them at $250 ea. They look like good construction. I hope they last tongue.gif , or else i'll be going with Corbeau.

Thanks. RD1's are so adaptable because they are hatchbacks. I installed the roof rack a few years back, and I was suprised to see that Thule had even considered making adapters for the RD1. Besides my surfboards, I have even hauled matresses with my Tibby! People give you a funny look when they see 3 mattresses stacked up high on a sports car. I think I am the only RD1 with a rack?! On here at least...

You're right, 01importshark said it was the bumper from GTR . I remember now way back when I ordered the bumper that I saw it on a GTR Bodykits car online. See, i just went to my local import shop and said, "i want that one" but really didn't pay too much attention to who made it.

In seeing the veilside kit, it is angled downward more so than the GTR bumper.

If you have bad roads or alot of dips, your front bumper will take a beating if lowered. A friend of mine installed a body kit on the front of his Elantra and the front cover is already cracked, without the car being lowered.

Thanks, yah, that is what i am afraid of around here. My bumper has been on for several yrs already, and it rarely touches the ground. Thus far, it has no cracks or scratches. Since my car is a daily driver, and not a show car, i think i will leave it at that.
