my 99 x3 rallycrosser
well guys i'm going to be getting rid of at least 2 of my accents in the next couple of months so i figured i'd give everyone one last glimpse of my babies before they leave my life. here is some info on my 99 x3.
my 99 x3 L model (previously raced in scca fsp autox, now prepped to scca prepared fwd rallycross)
fsp trim weight- 2075 with a 1/2 tank of gas
engine:
1.5 sohc 69whp 75 lb/ft on a mustang dyno tuned with an saf2
beta tb, maf, injectors
unorthodox crank pulley
custom short ram intake
unknown 4-1 header
2.25 catco cat > 2.25 magnaflow resonator > side exit 2.25
odyssey jetski battery(12 lbs) with custom caseydesigns tie down
suspension:
stock lc struts and springs
stock sways with poly bushings
evofusion strut braces
custom 3/16ths aluminum skid plate from caseydesigns
alignment -1.5 camber front -1.0 camber rear 1/16th toe out front zero rear
brakes:
full lc 4x100 conversion
front steering knuckles, rotors, calipers, drums, hubs...
wheels:
street- konig helium w/ bridgestone re-11s 205/50/15
rally-stock lc steelies w/ firestone winterforce 155/80/13
interior:
corbeau forza seat/ schroth harness
deleted radio, speakers, a/c
exterior:
rolled rear fenders
cut front fenders
lots of stickers

This is probably the only one ill keep. rallycrossing is turning into my new fav motorsport. My daily driver is going to the new driver in my family and the stinkbug hopefully will find a good home as a grassroots challenge car or ill keep it for another season since the only real cost is the hoosiers. I'm looking into a stock class autocrosser. I got spoiled this year driving a 2011 wrx in d stock most the season so only time will tell what I end up in. At least 1 of the accents will stay though they are just too easy to.work on and parts are readily available and cheap.

I'm interested in seeing where the Scion FR-S gets classed in stock. It might be a pretty good option.
We don't do much rallycross here. I'm moving more towards lapping days and hoping to run some time attack next season.
